Whether it’s a workshop for a small team or providing a keynote address for thousands, I create engaging learning experiences that meet people where they are at, and that are aligned with their goals, context and practical constraints––always with an eye towards improving equity and building capacity to continue the learning journey after the session ends. Participants actively grapple with the research, explore best practices, and reflect on how to integrate new strategies for improving equity and engagement into their practice.

Educators’ ability to create motivating and equitable classroom environments is exponentially enhanced when the organizations they teach within embody these same conditions throughout the organization. Achieving sustained, and sustainable impact requires more than a one-and-done training or top-down implementation of a one-size-fits-all program. It requires taking a teacher- and student-centered approach grounded in:

I provide implementation support for education partners seeking to bring motivation, equity, and mindset-promoting practices into their organization. I work collaboratively with partners to create program design and implementation plans that build internal capacity and buy-in long-term implementation and impact.

QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
If you are looking to gain a deeper understanding of the “why” or the “how” of a situation in your organization, gathering insights from key stakeholders about their perspective and day-to-day experiences is essential. I work collaboratively with clients to design a research plan and interview protocols that get at the heart of what they seek to understand, and leverage my expertise on the social psychological aspects of human motivation and behavior in analyzing and writing up the results.
